Following on from the completion of successful chase duties in support of one of the world's largest and most technologically advanced seismic data acquisition vessels in Ghana the SVS Guardsman was specifically requested by Charterers to follow their Seismic Survey Vessel to the Ivory Coast in support of a seismic survey for an international oil major. The SVS Guardsman undertook client-led vetting for both projects and is registered in the OVID (Offshore Vessel Inspection Database).

Between the two projects in Ghana and the Ivory Coast SVS Guardsman undertook routine and essential maintenance at her regional operating base in Lome, Togo where Admiral Offshore has developed an efficient and extensive supply chain network.

Whilst on project the SVS Guardsman was mandated to sail ahead of the seismic vessel and ensure that the route was clear of small fishing vessels, floating debris and other hazards that could interrupt the safe operation of the acoustic streamers. During the project the SVS Guardsman recorded zero lost time and HSSE incidents and the crew were commended by the client for their hard work and professionalism.

With 5 berths for Charterer's personnel, 46 airline style seats for crew transfers and 75m2 of clear deck space, the SVS Guardsman's endurance means she can offer optimal flexibility for both Admiral Offshore's blue chip Seismic and Oil & Gas clientele who require a vessel which can successfully and economically perform chase, crew transfer and critical spares and supplies deliveries to their vessels and platforms offshore.
